Most patients’ pain resolves completely. Rarely, pain becomes chronic. Conservative treatment will take care most of the fractures. If pain persists there are invasive methods available for carefully selected patients.

Medications

Calcium  1200-1500 mg/day

Vitamin D 400-800 IU/day
