A consultation at the center involves a thorough history and physical examination and evaluation of radiological

investigations. The treatment  is based on a unique combination of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Spine and

Orthopedic training ( Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Limb  Lengthening & Reconstruction and Foot & Ankle) and Yoga.  

At the center, patients consult one board certified physician, specialized in both spine and joint problems, (has fellowship

training in sub-specialties of both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Orthopedics) and not travel from one specialist

to another, saving time, money and effort.

• Spine Injections and Procedures under fluoroscope

                  Epidural, facet joint injection, radio frequency, percutaneous disc decompression, vertebroplasty                

• Musculoskeletal ultrasound  for diagnosis and procedures-tenotomy and injections. Unlike X-rays and MRI, joint and

  tendon movement can be examined in the office by ultrasound. Ultrasound was used at last winter Olympics

  (Vancouver) to expedite evaluation and treatment.

                  Trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, hip bursitis, popleteal cyst, ganglion

• Nerve conduction studies and EMG

• Joint and tendon injections under ultrasound guidance

   

  Fluoroscope and ultrasound increase the accuracy of spine, joint and tendon injections.
